Raymond W. Morrill devoted more than a half-century to the Wheaton Park District, for many years working as superintendent of recreation and special facilities and then serving as an elected board member for 16 years. 'Ray was so totally dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Wheaton community,' said Brook McDonald, president and CEO of the Naperville-based Conservation Foundation and a former colleague. 'He believed that leisure time was not an ‘add-on,' but an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
